SUMMARY

 

According to the results got in the two years period (1996 – 1997) we can conclude the following:

Fruit embrion of examined cultivars depends on agroechological in the given locality.

The flowering time of the summer apple varieties examinated in our plantation was approximately identical.

According to Nyeki (1980) germinability of pollen is fulfilled except in Close cultivar, which can be ascribed to its threeploidity.

Considering the pollinizing combinations the controlled insemination gave the best results and the self insemination the worst.

The greatest number of picked fruvit in apple Akane had when Stark Earliest (17.50%) was the pollenizer, and least when the pollen of the Close (8.58%) cultivar was used. Threeploidity of Close(6,58) cultivar turned to be a bad pollinizer even for the Prima cultivar, while the Akane(16.61%) and the Early Delicions(14.77%) cultivar gave the best results.

The Akane and Prima cultivars have a good mutual pollinizing.
