ABSTRACT
We have studied the effect of macro and microelements foliar fertilizing on soybeans yields in Timiᶊoara, on a cambic chernozem soil, during the experimental cycle 1998-2000. Applying a complex of macro- (N, P) and microelements (Mn, Mo, Cu) in low concentrations resulted in a yield raise up to 12% in years with normal climatic conditions (1998, 1999). In 2000, a particularly dry year, foliar fertilising had no effect whatsoever on yield.
Key words: soybeans, foliar fertilising, macro- and microelements, yield.
