SUMMARY
The aim of the present paper was to analyze important productivity features of new agri cultural crop varieties from the Srpska Republic admitted for introduction into production in Yugoslavia in the 1992-1998 period.
In keeping with positive statutory regulations of the FR of Yugoslavia a new variety may be registered or admitted for introduction into production only if, following previous exami nation in varietal microtrials and laboratory tests performed in keeping with uniform meth odics, according to its essential features (yield and main product quality, resistance to dis eases, winter hardiness, etc.) it results superior to the control varieties used.
The results obtained in field trials and laboratory tests with ten varieties created in the Re public of Srpska admitted for introduction into production in Yugoslavia, and thus: 6 winter wheat varieties, 2 soybean varieties of the "O" maturity group and 2 alfalfa varieties in the 1992-1998 period are presented in this paper.
The said results were processed with the application of variance analysis for triple classi fications in order to encompass three trial factors: variety, locality (trial locality) and year.
