During the 51 -years of existence and dealing, on program of vegetable breeding in Centre for Vegetable Crops developed more. than 100 cultivars of different veuetable soccies. Modern vegetable production is faced with problems inducing a reduction both the quality of yield and the quantity of yield, The using of correct selected breeding methods in last time in the Centre for Vegetable Crops developed a great number of new vegetable cultivars. New genotypes are characterized by a greater genetic potential for yield and a better resistance to the most significant disease of vegetable. The usage of new vegetable cultivars is one of the most important factors at prevail of problems and improvement of vegetable production.
