SUMMARY
Hilly family farm models were used to investigate the changes of efficient resouurce use effected by the application of various organizational solutions in cattle production from the standpoints of farm size, cattle production type and production intensity.
The following three indices were used order to evaluate the efficient use of resources: (a) relationships between the final production value and extyernal material costs, (b) farm income per hecterc of cultivable area and (c) income per Based on a mutual comparison between the different variants involved it can be concluded that 20 ha farms focused on cow milk and breeding ofspring production applyng higher production intensity represented the most favorable solution.
