Tolerantnost nekih sorti ozime pšenice na kiselost pseudoglejnog zemljišta

    SUMMARY

Pseoodogley is a type of soil with disturbed water-air regime, negative physical and chemical characteristics and that is why it is of low productive capability. In Kraljevo nalley this type of soil where the experiment was carried out, covers 32 000 ha and is one of the most spread rayons in Serbia. The aim of this experiment was to examine production capabilities as well as tolerance of some winter wheat cultivars to these soils. Research results show that this soil is acid, with low contents of humus and phosphorus and with high contents of mobile aluminium. These soils must be improved by amelioration (to neutralize acid, to increase humus contents, to reduce mobile aluminium contents) as to have good production characteristics. In agroecology conditions of Kraljevo valley the best crop is achived by Jarebica, Takovčanka and Rusia cultivars. Zlatka and Renesansa although with high genetic potential of fertility cannot be successfully grown on this type of soil without some major improvements.
