SUMMARY

In this work are shown the results of the two years research (1998-1999.) of the variability of significant morphological characteristics of fruits and seeds for 17 types of the wild pears, extracted from the autochthon population of the broad area on the mountain Trebevich. Our aim was to observe some quantity and quality characteristics of fruits and seeds, and to carry out the selection of the genotypes with positive characteristics on the basis of the research results, in purpose of further examinations. From the great amount of chosen genotypes of natural population with positive morpho-physiological characteristics are selected some of them in purpose of further examination, and also for vegetative breeding for producing the base of seed's material.
