SUMMARY

In the period of 1996 to 1997 the effect of pollenizer on the number of seeds of the summer apple variety Close, Vista Bella, Stark Earliest, rani delišes, Summerred, Akane and Prima was examined in Podgorica conditions. According to the results we got, we can conclude the folloving: The number of seeds in most varieties is shown as varity charasteristice. We found out that number of seeds was less than 10, which could be one of the reasous of fruit falling before the picking of summer apple varieties. The greatest number of seeds in a fruit of the examined apple varieties is noted in rani delišes variety, 7.81, and the best number in Summerred variety, 6.93.
