SUMMARY

According to the results got in the three years period (1998 – 2000) we can conclude the folloving: The vegetative growth of new peach varieties on the biological charasteristice are conditioned geneticaly. Everry new peach varieties much grow in thick growth. Higs thickness have variety Royal Gem and Harmonia. Stand type growth is dominant new peach varieties and wide type growth determination in the standard variety. The yield depends on the biological charasteristice and on the agroecological conditions in the given region. The average yield for the studied amounted to (11690. 37 kg/ha), being highest in Morsiani 51 (25973. 01 kg/ha) and the lowest in Springold (5233. 43 kg/ha).
