Produktivne i pomološko-tehnološke osobine Oblačinske višnje u istočnoj Srbiji

    SUMMARY

In the region of Eastern Serbia sour cherry is a leading fruit variety in organized production. More than 750.000 fruit-full trees put it, by its number, on the second place, right after the plum-trees. The cultivar Oblacinska visnja dominate in the production tending to wide further. Oblacinska visnja cv. is a heterogenous population, the klon mixture, the fact that makes opinions on its values devided. That is why some investigations have been carried out aiming to study its values and perspectives in future growing,

This study shows many-a-year investigation results (1986 – 2000), as well as some important polmologically-tecnological characteristics of fruits. The results were obtained from the Oblacinska visnja plantation of the Agricultural Estate "Zajecar" situated near the village of Planinica. The plantation had been successivelly formed in the period from 1979 to 1981 covering the area of 98,0 ha.

The tendency of air temperature increase (a = 10,7 0S; b = 0,04 0S) and precipitations decrease (a = 589,9 mm; b = - 5,5 mm) was characteristic for the investigation period. Depending on these and all other factors conditioning the fruitfullness, satisfactory production results were obtained. The average yield in the plantation for a fifteen-year-long period was 7465 kg/ha (2040 — 9890 kg/ha). However, trend line of yield showed a mild fall (a = 9218,7 kg/ha; b = -219,2 kg/ha). The obtained yields were conditioned by numerous factors, among which the precipitations had special importance.

Concerning the same period of time, the average coarseness and mass of fruits and stone varied significantly. Thus, the average fruit wass was 3,04 g (3,25 – 2,34 g), the stone mass 0,24 g (0,34 – 0,20 g), and the mesocarp content 92,1% (60,9 – 92,2%). The content of total sugars in fruits was 9,5% (8,5 – 13,1%), total soluble dry matters 13,8% (9,4 – 15,3%), and the total acids 1,8% (1,1 – 2,1%).
