Verovatnoća pojave prolećnih mrazeva u Pelagonijsko-pološkom vinogradarskom rejonu

    SUMMARY

Within the boundaries of Pelagonia Polog region there have been established six vineyards on the territory of Western and South Macedonia. In this vinicultural region belong the following vineyards: Tetovo, Kicevo, Ohrid, Prespa, Bitola, and Prilep vineyards (Bozinovic, 1996). In Pelagonia Polog vineyard region climatic analyses has been made about the date of spring winter killing occurrence. On the base of data collected during several years, the mean, earliest and the latest date of spring winter killing have been elaborated. In the tested regions, the avarage date of the spring winter killing varies from 2 to 19th April. The earliest date of the spring winter killing varies from 1 to 21th March. The latest date of the spring winter killing varies from 9 to 24 May. In Struga region, there is 90% probability of latest spring winter killing occurrence after March 15th , and there is no probabillity of occurrence after May 11th. In Ohrid region, there is 90 % probability of latest spring winter killing occurrence after March 17th, and there is no probability of occurrence after May 12th. In Bitola region, ther is 90% probability of latest spring winter killing occurrence after March 22th , and there is no probability of occurrence after May 20th. In Prilep region, there is 90% probability of latest spring winter killing occurrence after March 15th and there is no probability of occurrence after May 14th. In the tested regions, the most freqent occurrence of late spring winter killing happens in April. Most frequent in the spring winter killing with intensity to -2.0]C, and less frequent in spring winter killing with intensity greater than -2.0] C. The avarage duration of the winter killing period varies from 144 to 172 days. The duration of the phases of vegetative period coincides with the duration of the winter killing period, which indicates that there is a risk of frost plant injurity.
