SUMMARY
In this paper the important technological and economically interesting aspects of milk production, utilization and protection of environment are presented. We proposed solutions which offer better stocking/housing conditions (free stall barn with group or individual boxes) and contribute to health maintaince, improvement of productive and reproductive performances, longer productive life, better milk quality and more humane working conditions (milking in parlours). The special accent is given to the botanical profile, optimal harvesting phase of the plants and conserved forage quality. It is pointed on possible milk savings in nutrition of claves by using milk replacers based on the milk processing by-products from dairy industry. Possibilities of production and utilization of preparations based on natural mineral raw materials (zeolites). These preparations adsorb mycotoxins in feedstuffs, increase resorption of the colostral immunoglobulines, bind radionuclides in feedstuffs, odors and humidity in barns, promote silage fermentation, purify waters contaminated with the farm and food industry waste waters.
